Typical Morgantown Sunday Gathering

When you get ready to come to Crossroads on Sunday morning, dress casually. We do not have a dress code and you will find most of our members and attenders dressed in a way that is the most comfortable to them. You will see everything from nice slacks and skirts to jeans and even sweatpants are spotted occasionally, so wear whatever you are most comfortable in.

We have a parking lot directly adjacent to our building on Oak street, as well as a gravel lot on Oak street and a lot on Garrison avenue. When you come inside, feel free to mingle and get to know us. When you are ready to sit down, sit wherever you like. We do not have assigned seats so you won’t be “taking” someone’s chair. We are so glad that you are there, we’ll sit on the floor if we have to!

The times of gatherings in Morgantown vary based on time of year – 9:00 AM & 11:00 AM during fall/spring semesters and 10:30 AM during the summer/winter. . All gatherings are similar in style and usually consist of preaching and response. We love the Bible at Crossroads. The primary focus of our Sunday gathering is receiving from the Word and responding to the Word. We typically preach straight through books of the Bible, seeking to learn from the Word of God and to respond by applying the truth to our lives.

After the preaching, our worship band leads us in response to God. The music at Crossroads crosses a diverse blend of genres and varies from traditional hymns to upbeat, original songs. The central theme of every song is the person and work of Jesus Christ.
